Birgitte Lund Nielsen will make a presentation about the Hand in Hand project in a session about current research and development projects, which is part of the programme for the International Staff Visiting Week at VIA University College. The presentation will include a short introduction to social, emotional and intercultural (SEI) competencies, the research background and why these competencies are important. Furthermore, there will be a short introduction to the Hand in Hand program, with a particular focus on “the whole school approach”, and findings from a review of teacher competencies and implementation. The presentation will be in English.
